5. c. Jesus Christ. Old Testament writings, prophecies and events look forward to the ultimate sacrifice of the Lamb of God. The animal sacrifices in the Old Testament foreshadowed what Christ would do on the cross.
Anyone who has read the Old Testament will agree that the Israelites would follow God for a while and then fall into idol worship and sin. They'd go into bondage, cry out to the Lord and He would deliver them. They'd follow Him for a while and then would then slip back into the old ways even though God had done so many things for them e.g., destroying their enemies, and miracles like parting the Red Sea. They needed the power of the Holy Spirit to help them overcome sin. The animal sacrifices were to last them until the ultimate sacrifice came in the fullness of times--the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the New Testament, we are priviliged to see what the Old Testament prophets yearned to see, God's Messiah/Christ. The New Testament is devoted teaching about Christ, how to be a saved, functioning member of the body, and how Christ will return one day.

7. c. The Holy Ghost moved them. II Peter 1:20-21 says, Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

8. d. The Bible. Though the other ancient writings listed are used to assemble our history books, they don't have anywhere near the supporting manuscripts that the Bible does. Let's do a comparison:
- Aristotle - 5 copies available for comparison
- Homer - 643 copies available for comparison (with 5% being variant readings)
- Plato - 7 copies available for comparison
- The Bible - 5000+ Greek copies available for comparison and another 19,000 to 25,000 available for comparison written in other languages. This wealth of evidence is simply staggering.

16. False. The authorized King James Bible contains only the scriptures accepted by the early church (not the Roman Catholic religion). Let's look at a quote from Sirach, a book from the apocrypha and show how it contradicts scripture.
The apocrypha
...Health and fitness are better than any gold and a robust body than countless riches. (Sirach 30)
The Bible
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. (I Timothy 4:8)
