Amen and hallelujah! ALL the power belongs to King Jesus. Amen and hallelujah! Continue in His word and you will know the truth! Embrace the word and God will sanctify and purify you. Dear Tracy,
I have been wanting to write to you for some time, for I owe my salvation in no small part to your online ministry.
I have been a Christian since I was a kid, and have been attending church regularly since I was about 17. It was only on October 1999 last year (when I was 33 years old) that I realised that I was never a true Christian, and that I need to repent and be born again. I had a born again experience, and for the first time in my life, I could see clearly. When I attended church and we sang "Because He lives," I cried for the love and goodness of our Lord Jesus.
The Lord knows that I was sincere in my faith all these years, but I was sincerely wrong. I have to testify to the fact that Jesus is faithful and true, and for the mere simple fact that I believe in His promise in John 3:16, though not perfectly, He came and saved me from the dark prison of sins that I was in, even after so many years.
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in rightousness he doth judge and make war.
The Lord uses your site as one of the intrument in bringing this change in me, and in a wonderful and powerful way. I came across your site when I was surfing on King James Version. I have this to say about your site. No one in my life had dare to tell me the truth in such a clear and bold way as you did in your site.
Now the things which were stumbling blocks in my life are all addressed in your site--
- The need for true repentence.
I did a hard examinations and evaluation of my life and realise that I was serving the Devil in deeds, and paying mere lips service to our Lord Jesus. I realise that I need to repent, a thing which I never really did. I gave up a lot of my vices, I stopped smoking, cursing, railing among other deplorable things I was enthralled to all these years. And I knew I had the strength through our Lord Jesus Christ. Not to say that I have no sins anymore, but at least I make a real and sincere efforts to steer away from sin.
- The realisation that the "Theory" of Evolution is a pack of lies.
I was one of those fools who was taught the theory in school, and believed it to be consistent with Christain belief. Nothing is further from the truth.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
The scripture is clear that death did not come about until our forefather, Adam sinned.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
It is also clear that Our Lord and God conquered death for us, and paid a very great price so that we may be free from sin, and death. Therefore to believe in Evolution is tantamount to calling our God a liar, and the truth is not in him who does that. [tracy's note: amen and go 'head!]
- The importance of believing that we still have the infallible words
of God with us today.
Now as I read the King James Bible, there is no more doubting. When I read the words, I know that I have to obey.
