What About John Chapter 6?
As you may know, the Catholic religion claims to eat Jesus. They call this blasphemy the eucharist. In the past, the popes made it illegal for Catholics to read the Bible so they wouldn't know you can't eat Jesus. For those true Christians that denied that Catholic priests had the power to make Jesus come down from heaven so you could eat Him, they were killed, period. Millions of Christians were killed by popish Romanists--including greedy priests who loved torture and the wages of unrighteousness--this is DOCUMENTED...
BUT NOW that God's people have flooded the world with scriptures and because Rome cannot control every country, it has changed its Satanic strategy. In the last decade or so, Catholic apologists have been teaching the people selected verses of scripture in an attempt to Christianize their pagan beliefs. John chapter 6 is one of the most common passages I hear from idolatrus Catholics. Of course the writer below didn't use the King James Bible in quoting so if you want to read what the real Bible says you can go here. Nevertheless, he stopped short even in his corrupted version. An E-mail From an Idolatrous Catholic JOHN CHAPTER 6 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world. Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever. My Response Aren't you forgetting to read the last verse of this passage (John 6:63) which shows [Jesus] didn't mean this literally? It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; THE FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING: THE WORDS I SPEAK ARE SPIRIT, and they are life. In His knowledge that the Catholic religion would twist this, He made it clear that He was not speaking literally. (Click here to see what Jesus really meant in John chapter 6.) Tracy There are many other points that could made about this such as the Catholic religion contradicting its own evil tenets. For example, in the passage the writer quoted, he said "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life" -- YET the Catholic religion says you can't be sure that you have eternal life--they call it the sin of presumption. So even their eucharist doesn't do what they say it does. As I think about it, this is the only thing I've seen about the Catholic religion that I agree with--THEY cannot say for sure they are going to heaven because they are hellbound if they believe this dung! Get saved and you can know for sure that heaven will be your home! Knowing Jesus is not religion, it is relationship. Jesus told the hellbound in Matthew chapter 7, "I never KNEW you." You got to KNOW the Lord, not just have a few facts in your head and some idolatry--ain't going to cut it. Everytime you put that cracker in your mouth and call it Jesus, God hates it. It is an abomination to Him. Everytime a nun tells a child, "Go visit Jesus in that little box, He's lonely in there," God hates it. It is a stink in His holy nostrils. Jesus is High and Lifted up and is positioned at the right hand of the throne of God. If you stay in this abomination the Catholic religion, always remember, God hates it. The Bible makes it abundantly clear. |
