Preface.
I received the following testimony on November 9, 1999 and I had a hallelujah good time with Jesus because of it. I got my shout on in this little office. People shout about a lot of meaningless things like sports. I shout about the goodness of Jesus. The word of the Lord does not return void, but verily it accomplishes every single thing it was sent to do. 2 Corinthians 2:15-16 says that we true Christians are the savour of death unto death to some people (we stink to them but what they smell is their own judgment and condemnation), but to others we are a savour of life unto life. In this case, glory to God, we've been a savour of life unto life. The blood of Jesus is powerful and it is still savin' souls in 1999. Be blessed.

I pray this epistle will encourage all those involved in the management of this web site.
So far seven people have received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior as a result from the information we obtained from your web site.
My name is Don ----- and I live in Sydney, Australia. I'm 37 years old and have been married for 13 years to a wonderful and beautiful woman (Lorena)
I was raised a Catholic and at the age of 21 attended an Assemblies Of God (Pentecostal Church) and responded to the alter call to be saved and receive Jesus as my Savior. I was born-again (well so I thought) and was on fire for the Lord Jesus. Soon after, they laid hands on me for the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and I began to speak in tongues (more like gibberish)
I became involved in the Faith & Prosperity Message (Kenneth Hagin-Kenneth Copeland etc) but after several months rejected some parts of the teaching as it did not align with Gods Word. (The only good thing that came out of it was they put me onto the KJV, up until then I was using the NASV recommended to me by my youth pastor.)
I married at the age of 24 and so began our struggling Christian Life of being empowered and on fire for God for several months and when failure occurred disillusion and condemnation would drag you so low you would eventually backslide. (Unless you have experienced believing you can lose your salvation by sinning you cannot comprehend the immense feeling of condemnation and rejection you feel when you fall short of what you pledge God your going to do for Him.) To come to a place of repentance with this condemnation over your head is almost impossible. Eventually you get the courage to repent and be born again-again (I know it sounds ridiculous but when you think you need to do good works to keep your salvation you think you can lose your salvation by doing bad works-[this doctrine is taught by the charismatic movement] ).
I lived my life like this up until four months ago, when we ( my brother Joe and another friend George began to ask questions about the Pentecostal movement and did not get any satisfactory answers ( especially slaying, laughing, and drunk in the spirit).
This is where you beloved brethren come in. We seeked the truth and God used the Internet and web sites like yours to reveal it to us. We slowly but surely began to stop practicing our so called Gifts of the Spirit and came to the conclusion that we should leave our Church and begin attending a KJV Only Baptist Church. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ the first Baptist Church we attended on Sunday night the 24th of October, 1999 was a KJV Only Independent Baptist Church. We loved it;- the hymns, the reverence to God and his Word and the orderly manner of the service, and especially listening to someone preaching on the subject of Jesus Christ and his Salvation Plan.
On the Monday night the 25th of October, 1999 (also my wedding anniversary) the Pastor came over to my place and shared many Sciptures with us and the Holy Spirit revealed to us that we were never really saved but rather involved in a cult and had based our salvation on works.
Joe my brother, my wife, George and his wife, Dennis ( a friend ), my mother and myself all repented and received the Lord Jesus Christ as our Personal Savior . The assurance of Salvation is something none of us have ever experienced, and it is excellent and wonderful.
We all want to say thank-you for your diligence and commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ. "Brethren the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.Amen" Galations 6:18

It,s verily amazing we are all babes in Christ, we didn't even know how to pray. The only form of praying we knew was tongues, our prayer meetings would be a group of people jibber-jabbering or if you prayed to God in your own time you would spend most of your time in gibberish, sometimes even hours. We all look back now and ask ourselves how could we have ever practiced and believed such nonsense for so long, but praise and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for opening our eyes and delivering us from Satan's strong- hold, and now we look ahead to serving the Lord and lift our eyes for the returning of the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
The Lord has provided us with a wonderful pastor, he has begun a new Christians class on Wednesday nights, because as I said we need to be fed milk.( We all agreed to throw out all our theology, doctrine and any other belief we learnt under the Pentecostal Movement and start afresh. "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18
