"You're Closed-minded!"

Funny how the world calls real Christians closed-minded. I'm not talking about the ecumenical types that accept every false doctrine and waffle at taking a stand on anything. I'm talking about people who stand on the word of God and won't move from it. An unbeliever sent me the following e-mail:

"...You have deep seeded presuppositions that retain immunity from outside skepticism. That is the bare essential for close-mindedness."

My response:

"Thanks for writing. Concerning closed-mindedness, the same is true of you. You come to me with presuppositions which you have no intention of altering at this time. I hope that you will see the Light, Jesus Christ, before it is everlasting too late."

It is interesting how they struggle to come up with all these big words and ideas while never even stopping to consider if these same concepts apply to them. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth [1]. I can truly say that my feeble little mind is as wide and as narrow as that big, black book I read called, The Bible. The Bible makes me narrow-minded:

... narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
--Jesus Christ, Matthew 7:14

Glory to God, I'm narrow-minded. I'm minding that narrow path which leadeth unto life! This narrow mind can focus and judge an issue through the filter of the word of God. No more to be deceived! Glory! Glory to God! I used to be on my way to destruction but Jesus saved my life. Now I can truly say that I'm having the time of my life! [Thank you, Jesus.]
