Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the OLD paths, where is the good
way, and walk therein,
and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, we will not walk therein.
Jeremiah 6:16
Preface. There are number of Christians who are returning to the olde ways. This is good and profitable. The olde Book, the olde hymns, the olde way of holiness. I hear from young people and older people who are returning to the olde ways. The Holy Ghost is doing this work in saints who previously knew little or nothing about the olde ways. That is my personal testimony.
This page will include an on-going list of excerpts taken from testimonies that I receive from folks who have cast down the modern perversions for the olde Book, the King James Bible. It is October of 1999 and of course there are a number of potent testimonies I've received that won't be here...mmm...but it is my goal henceforth to publish accounts of those who've returned back to the olde Book, the King James Bible almost 400 years old. The olde Book, the right Book, the King James Bible will be instrumental in helping saints to return to the olde ways. Gotta have the right Book. We need its full, ripe, vigorous, powerful instruction.

I appreciate your website so very much. I am not a Jehovah Witness, Mormon, or anything of that sort but you finally CLEARED the whole trinity issue up for me. I have always known about the Trinity and my church believes in the Trinity and Deity BUT the NIV pretty much is (should I say was) the bible of choice here in my house. I only "believed" in the Trinity but never understood it. I just thought that people misunderstood John and that Jesus is God in the sense i.e. my son is my husband kind of way. I understood even better a few weeks ago when I purchased the book 3 in 1 for my children to help them understand the Trinity and I think it helped me more. When I saw that the entire verse stating that "these three are one" was entirely removed I was shocked.
Thanks again so much for opening my eyes. In Christ, S

With the NIV, i did not appreciate the old testament, particularly from Exodus onward, yet with the KJV, i enjoy reading Genesis and Exodus! I'm still at Exodus now, but I don't tire of it. Praise the Lord for KJV!!! :)

Thank you so much for your website. I was a lukewarm Christian yet with the King James bible and your edifying website, i was revived! I read the NIV and devotionals for a year yet i didn't take God's commands seriously. I read your articles about repentance, hypocrites, hell, etc., and boy, was i convicted! I am so grateful that Lord Jesus led me to your website. Praise King Jesus. :) I read much of your articles (and re-read them) during my freee time..usually every other day or so. :) It is such a delight to read the KJB. Before i struggled with Paul's letters yet, it's so enjoyable to read!
...The Bible is truly a bold, two edged sword, piercing right through my ignorance...Ever since i discovered your website, and the Holy KJB, in less than a month I've repented of my 'lukewarmness' and made more spiritual growth than i had in a year! All praise to Lord Jesus! There's still a lot more to 'prune' within me, yet it's all in the hands of King Jesus...

Hello Sister Tracy! I know I haven't written in a while, but I do still read your e-mails, and if my face is not in the KJV 1611, or witnessin, or praying, it is in your website. The Lord sure does make impact in lives through your on-line ministry, I used to prefer the NIVs and the NASBs, but praise be to God forever for the insight He's given you on Bible versions, for now I strictly read and prefer the KJV. Not to mention the isight He's given you concerning the idiot box, people can't understand why someone as yuong as I am does not watch TV, it's because The Lord set me free from the shackles of "hellivision." HALLELUJAH, BLESS THE LAMB!!! I take the Word of God to the streets to other young people, and I am seeing God move in a powerful way, and He's given me a vision for a spiritual revolution to take place in the community with the youth, I'm finally going to see a REAL revival. Thanks to finding your website. God has blessed my life with your website. I truly believe He Himself has led me to it. Before I ever read anything on Jesus-is-Lord.com, I was just another youth in the church, professing Salvation while wearing worldly, baggy clothes, and listening to "Christian" rock, I found this website, and God has cleansed me from the inside out. But I'm pretty sure that you've known that your website was going to have this kind of effect. Praise the Lord, people sympathize me for the boredom I must face... HA! I have a better time spending 3 hours alone with the Lord than I ever did when I was i the world pulling drug-filled, hellbound all nighters with my old, worldly friends! THAT's THE TRUTH!!! GLORY TO GOD!!! He's truly set mefree, and now I know what it means to be set free. My least of days as a child of God is better than anyday I've spent as a sinner...
Well, sorry this e-mail was so long. Just had to let you know, that I am grateful that God has used you to post the website, because it has reached my life, and now I know my calling. Thank you Sister, God Bless.

Let me tell you what God is doing to me! I was a reader of the NASB for almost all of my Christian walk, 27+ years. Recently I began to pray and read the word in the mornings, spending upwards of two hours or more. As I read the NASB (Thompson Chain) and all the various ("doubt notes) on EVERY PAGE it began to really bother me. I began to use white out, meticulously painting over the tiny numbers in the text and applying the same fluid to the notes at the bottom. Even at times I was taking blank address labels and applying them over the bottom of the pages. I painted more than I was reading. FINALLY I said enough. I read some material about the King James version and about the new version of Genesis 3:1 where the serpent said to Eve: ~HATH GOD SAID~ I have completely stopped USING the NASB. I purchased a Thompson 1611 KJV and it is beautiful. I am having an adventure reading and studying a Bible I have complete confidence in and when it saith: Thus saith the LORD... no doubt.
I have since looked for King James sites and found yours among them. Yours in fact is now my home page!
Pray for me also, I feel the Lord has called me to share His word.

Hello! Your website is incredible. I enjoy it very much. I have come back to the King James Bible, and am glad I did.

I forgot to tell you that over the summer I tried reading the Bible but it was the NIV. I always had a KJV but never read it. I started to read it and it had a profound effect as my last e-mail said. However I just read your article "Changes in the King James Bible" My KJV makes those changes. It's going in the bin!! I'm going to go to our 'Christian' bookshop and buy a 1611 KJV. [Note: many publishers of King James Bibles are taking liberties. Cambridge Bibles are good, sound choices. Please see http://www.jesus-is-lord.com for other KJ Bibles and where you can buy them.]

Thank you so much for all of the links on your/His site. The detailed "expose's" of the various other translations have drastically changed my reading habits. It's incredible the heretical/blasphemous twists of truth found in those other versions! ...We are in a battle, one that our LORD has already won for us and through your efforts toward affirming and documenting the TRUTH in these dark times I am far better equipped to do battle. God bless you!

THE NEW KING JAMES BIBLE.
I couldn't believe my eyes as was just scanning the web and this just pop up. I have been listen to a tape by Elder Lawrence Nelson talking about the nkjv. I was so SHOCKED TO HEAR what I was hearing then I saw that awful picture about the nkjv surrounded by the devil and somefolks. Boy we are some sleeping folks, but praise GOD for people like you and your group who have the gift to come forward and tell the truth . I must ask my church to stop reading from that book and tell them why, maybe I'll be disfellowshiped or something else. I want to read and live the true way. Cause if we're not reading the right Bible what will happen when this world fall apart?

Tracy I count it as a wonderful blessing to have you as a sister in Christ. I found "Jesus-is-Lord.com" when I did a random search under "Bible translations" on the web. I often wondered why there were so many translations and which one was the most accurate. I praise God in telling you that I now believe the Authorized King James of 1611 is the most accurate English translation of God's word we have and have quickly discarded my NIV. I was like many Christians when I chose my first Bible. I just bought the one I found that was easiest to read, never questioning if one was more accurate than another. Well now I know the Truth and His name is Jesus. Now that I have an AKJV of 1611 (without commentary or notes), God has never spoken to me more clearly through His word. I feel as if a shroud has been removed. The physical size of the Book itself is so much smaller. I never knew how much extra "stuff" was in my Bible, and now I'm learning of all the "stuff" that has been removed (in other perverted versions).

hey tracy- i really appreciate you keeping up with the webiste...it really has taught me alot since i first was saved. i used to own a NIV Bible and was seriously confused at the footnotes, and i found myself on your website finding out what was really up behind the scenes. it is sick stuff and extremely deceiving!

Thank you for exposing all those false bibles. since coming to this understanding I have invested in the true KJV bible. One of my brothers in Christ recently emailed a sister in the Lord pointing out the inaccuracies of the bible she studies and did not take it very well please pray for my brother...as this has really upset him. Truly I tell you the great falling away is greater than I ever could have imagined prior to the appearance of the man of sin. Keep up the good work in Christ in exposing the false teachers of God's word.

I really admire your steadfastness in every respect, but especially concerning bible versions. I just want you to know that I am also reading the KJV (Authorised) and in fact even have it on my Palm organiser and on CD to listen to in my vehicle while driving.
...It was quite a shock to have learned the perverseness even in the NKJV. I do have a New Open Bible that uses the NKJV text and in fact had wonderful times with the Lord reading it and referencing etc. But since reading your article on the NKJV I haven't read it again.
I have communicated the perverseness of the NIV to some of my friends and some of them will never read it again. There is however some of them that does not seem to grasp the importance of the issue. I never had a NIV and never will.
A small testimony :I was in Cape Town last week, visiting a friend, when a friend of her came to her house visiting her. I heard her (the friend) talking of how she was really struggeling to get hold of a certain NIV study bible. She was actually amazed that she couldn't even find it at one of the biggest christian shops around Cape Town. I was very happy to tell her and my friend about your Web-site and what I read. Rest assured that none of them will ever read the NIV again and she immediately realized that God was preventing her from getting hold of this perverse bible.
God Bless

Greetings faithful brothers & sisters in JESUS
I want to thank you for the page I clicked on about the NKJV Bible and the strange symbol on the side,of the one I use to have. I had it for 2 years and had no idea, and the rewording in certain passages. The one I had was the Holy Spirit Filled Bible For Students. And that symbol was on the side, and I remember the Led Zepplen rock albums I used to listen to, that was 25 years ago,I know those symbols and remember them. It gave me a feeling I can't tell even describe, just nausiating. I now have 1611 KJV,and a new KJV study Bible.Thank GOD in the most high for the work only JESUS can do, and for showing me this, I would have never known about this if not for your devotion and commitment to the word of GOD.
May GOD BLESS you richly, From A Thankful and set free brother in JESUS Glory to GOD.

My wife and I have studied and spoken long together, and searched within ourselves. We both believe in the Word of God and believe all that is written therein. Your articles, especially those on bible versions, have been very helpful. One church we tried used the NKJV so we bought some inexpensive copies (this was over 5 years ago). I wondered then about that sign on the cover but foolishly did not research it. The first bible I bought after being saved was an NIV. I had no idea, being a new believer, and relied on their prefatory comments stating the accuracy of their work. Oh how deceived I was! We have recently purged all these from our home and are reading our KJB's and sticking with it. The church we found recently uses the KJB (we had already decided we would not stay if they did not) and so far, so good. It is not word-faith either, but is non-denominational. We have been listening closely to the pastor's messages and are measuring what we are taught against God's Word.

Hi Tracy. I've been reading your site about the NKJV bible. You see I have that bible. This is the bible I tried to find God through. I read the whole book but I didn't find much inspiration from it. I read from your site that the word "heaven" was taken out quite a few times compaired to the 1611.
Now I've read some of the 1611 and it seems to flow so nicely. Almost as if something is pulling me to read more. It just makes so much more sense. The NKJV seems choppy and less enjoyable.
...Being a Catholic growing up I never knew God. Never read the bible to know his character. And then when I do get a hold of a bible it just happened to be the NKJV. I wish I had grabbed the 1611 if they had it then. Now, two months after my fall when I read the 1611 it reads wonderfully. But I can't stop feeling scared when I read about the wicked. [Tracy's note: The Authorized Version has CONVICTING power.]

Well, I'l have to to tell you that since I statrted visiting your website about 6 months ago, I've shunned any other Bible versions besides the KJV,(for I was a NIVer myself before I came to this website). And now TV has a new name for me - idiot box. I thank God for this website, because in the midst of all the trash and darkness on the Web, this is the only light I could see. God has definitely anointed this site, keep it up, and God Bless.

I keep you and www.jesus-is-lord.com and oldlandmarks.com in my thoughts and prayers continually! I am ***. I live in *****. I am in the tenth grade. I have been a'loggin' on for over a year now.
I have rejoiced continually over the last few days. I witnessed to a girl in my class who was had become disillusioned with "the good fight" and been experimenting with witchcraft last year.
A year later, after I finally found an AKJV 1611 at K-Mart free of footnotes or a center column of verses the day before, she came up to me wearing a shirt from a major church youth group in our town. Then she thanked me for my exhortation a year earlier and told me of her regenerated life (Praise God in the Highest). That did it. Every cell in body tingled with unspeakable joy. I shouted out thanks and praise without even thinking. The Holy Spirit had done as I knew it would; all I had to do was witness. I am filled with gladness that the celestial banquet table will have one more place set by the Lord.
Sincerely,

Your site has helped me; God knows how many others have pulled useful information from it, or been saved by it. I can't remember if it was from your site or not that I downloaded my first bit of information about modern bibles. Quite possibly, it was yours. Not long after that, I took my NIV per-versions to a corner of the garden and burnt them. Anything else "new" was trashed also. It makes a difference - a big difference. There is no other way, living on a small island, that I could have got that information.

I thought I had to write to you. I like to thank you so much for your site, your site and the other sites which your site links to have been used by God to show me the truth. My walk with Him has changed so much, it is such a long story I could write pages about it, it's a testimony of how God shaped a lukewarm Christian like me, into someone who wants Him, but for this email I decided I leave it out. Basically to cut it short, I go to a Pentecostal Church, and months ago I used to read the NKJV and well in my Bible studies I used to always have so many different Bible's open, basically one day I ask God to show me the Bible He wants me to read, I was thinking "Surely there is one Bible that is right, why would God want so many", Well I landed on your site (at that time I never usually went to Christian sites, I used to hang around worldly sites, like all the latest music and other things), well after I was hurt, because I thought "Oh no its one of those sites" God did not give up, I brought a KJB and at first I was like "I cant read this" (I brought it just to see what you were talking about). But I had a weird feeling, I thought, "No I'm going to give this ago", so I prayed to God, and well, my eyes were open, I never read such and easy crystal clear Bible. It was powerful, sadly the KJV Bible is so despised there is such a terrible lie going around that it is too hard to read, where do people get this from? The Bible has change my life, and well after noticing my NKJV contradicted it self (I found it myself as I was reading it) I decided to go KJV only, and now I rarely read any other translation, I read the KJB only, many people make fun of me, but I don't care, I love God and I love His Word, and I don't wont to touch another translation (I never though I would end up on the KJV).
For most people the KJB is an old Bible, too hard to read and out of date. But this is not the case, it's easy to read, its God's Word, its powerful and is truth. There not any other translation that comes close!

Hello Sister Tracy,
I want to thank you for your wonderful site. When I first came across it, about a year and a half ago, I was a Charismatic who adhered to the NIV (although I rarely read the Bible!). When I first read some of your articles (particularly against Charismatics and the NIV "translation"), I was so furious! I started to study some things, in an effort to prove you wrong, but all I ended up doing was proving that you were right. A few months ago, I tossed out all of my new age Bibles and bought an AKJV. It's truly amazing, before when I had the supposedly "easy to read" Bibles handy, I couldn't get motivated to read them. I just couldn't bring myself to read them. Now, with my AKJV, I read it with no problem at all. I love the Word of God, love studying it, love reading it.
[following is an excerpt from a subsequent email] I have been so hungry for the Word lately, which is something completely new to me. I read my AKJV Bible throughout the day and when I am in my car...I listen to the Bible on Tape, AKJV of course. My goal was to get through the Bible by the time the new year comes (can you believe I have never read the Bible completely through! just bits and pieces here and there), I am well on my way and plan on being through now by the end of October. I'm so excited about it! (8-1-02)

Hi Tracy:
God has given me a revelation, and the Holy Spirit compelled me to write this letter to you.......its 4:30 am for crying out loud!
I have been saved for approximately four months now thanks to your web site. It is a pure blessing from God! The reason I am writing is because I have been studing the issue of God's Word and Satan's attack on the KJV of the Bible. I have been studying a NKJV due to the fact that it is a study bible which includes a persons study and viewpoints of acknowleging the scripture and I have also been reading a KJV (not a study bible) along with it.....however it dawned on me that even though I had a book I had spent almost $50 dollars on (the NKJV), it wasnt as effective or had hardly ANY effect as the KJV I spent a dollar on at the dollar store in learning what God wants to teach me. So it made me wonder a little bit. When I read your article - Wasnt the King James Version Revised?, it has shown me how accurate the KJV is. And the revelation I was given was this:
If the Bible is Gods inerrant Word, and the Word is with God and the Word IS God, wouldnt it make sense to only study the true and unchanged version of the Word. I mean, I might have a NKJV bible and the words differ only a little, but there is just something about the KJV that increases my faith, provides revelations and truths, and gives me the what I need to get closer to Him. No wonder Satan is trying to change the bible.........its because all other versions just DONT work, because its not the true Word of God no matter how close it is. The people who argue that different versions are "just as good" are on a pathway to destruction, and if any of them really are saved it is because they have read the KJV before reading any of the corrupt versions.
The true Word of God is the KJV and its the best and most important dollar I had ever spent in my life. People need to trash all others before its too late!
Your brother in Christ;
[here sis. tracy's responds to the comment, "...if any of them really are saved [modern Bible version readers] it is because they have read the KJV before reading any of the corrupt versions."
Amen--many who use modern versions are soft on doctrine but those that do have sound doctrine have that doctrine based on the King James Bible. For example, the doctrine of the deity of Jesus Christ is almost impossible to establish using an NIV yet many who read the NIV believe that Jesus Christ is God and man because somebody told them so.

I have read your web-page about the KJV only and whole heartedly agree with everything you said.

Grace,Mercy, and Peane in the name of our lord and saviour King Jesus Christ.I have just found your site and love it.I particuarly love your thesis of the KJV 1611 a.v,People have (and no doubt a deciple of James White or Robert Bowman0 make a claim and branded anyone who stood on the KJV as 'KJV only'.I was a victim (and thats the only word I can think of) of the NKJV's watering down on the basic aspects of God's word the virgin birth, the Blood atonement(the only way to Christ the other versions outside of the KJV would have you believe its anybodys guess),etc, etc, until God laid it on my heart to read a book by Mrs Gail Riplinger 'New Age Bible versions' and compare it with the Authorized text the KJV,I read it from cover to cover and found the NKJV in some much error that I was shocked and suprised at all the ommisions, word changes, the footnotes (had I paid attention to them)would have encouraged me cut out what this version had already suggested to disregard. So to make a long story short I stand boldly to say I am a KJV only person I mean after all what else would I read to find the truth? the NIV,? or NASB (which by the way Frank Lodgon co-authored this version and renounced his own involement of this version sighting Satanic deception and its on audio)?.I don;t care what they call me and all I can do is pray for them but a simple comparison and dependment on God's direction is all thats nessary to find the truth not controversy.

[Tracy's note: I publish this one to encourage my brothers and sisters to defend the Olde Booke] A church called me to preach at there church. So I went, I used the NIV bible. I have a King James. But the NIV was easier to read. A few days latter a church member called me. An said they preferred that people in there church use the King James. This was a Missionary Baptist Church in Tennessee. So I said ok I'll use the King James from now own. But then I started asking myself. What is rong with the NIV? That is when I found your web site.

I've been reading your webpage now for the last two days. I am so amazed at the working of the Holy Ghost through all of this. My first email I sent you was mean. My second email I sent you I expressed how I still thought that the KJV was outdated. Now I email you to tell you that you've won, or should I say that the Living Word has won. I owe you thanks and an apology. I now will never read another bible except the KING JAMES; Holy Bible. Thank You. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ.Amen

On January 13, 2002 I had an encounter with our Lord and savior that I will never, ever forget, he led me to your web site after I asked him what bible I should read because I know the word of God has been tampered and changed big time over the years. I did not want to read anything that was going to confuse me like other Christians are confused so he led me to the King James Version of 1611. He confirmed it through my dad, he gave me an authorized King James Version bible as a gift when he found out I repented and I did not even tell him anything. God is good and I just want to say thank you for letting the Lord use you in a very special way.

Thank you for your website and I am an apologetic, a firm defender of the Christian faith, and I am disgusted that so many people are being deceived with this "Bible" that ain't Bible. I want to thank God for all of you and I just praise God for you, I will also fight against this deception with the different versions of the Bible, I used to be a frequent NIV reader and now I'm finished with that deceptive "Bible"... I want to thank God for what you're doing, and may God bless you for what you're doing, exposing falsehood with these "newer" versions. God bless you and may he help you to be a blessing.

Just to let you know, I have put up my NKJV and opened up my KJV. My home church bought me it when I graduated. No footnotes, and wide margins for writing notes. I love it! No influences from man at all. I thank you for sharing your convictions about the KJV, you helped me to see the importance of it.

Hello. You have a great site. Up till now I've been reading my NIV but you guys convinced me to get an Authorized King James. ..

Hello Sister and Brothers in Christ,
To thank you and encourage you, I am writing to tell you that your websites had a significant impact on my spiritual life recently. Since I was born again in December, 1993, I have been using a Scofield Study Bible, KJV. A few months ago I had decided to change versions and ordered several NKJV Bibles and some CEV New Testaments and CEV copies of the Gospel of John from ABS. After I made my order I felt uncomfortable about it and initiated some research on the internet. After reading the material on your websites and also Gail Riplinger's site about the corruptions in the New King James Version and other versions, and all the fascinating information about the manuscript sources I later returned my whole order to ABS and ordered several Authorized KJV-1611 Holy Bibles from AVPublications.com. I am very thankful for the information on your websites. I believe you helped save me and my family from having significant problems in our Bible study that would have been caused by using the NKJV or CEV Bibles. I couldn't figure out how to contact Gail Riplinger, so if any of you know how, please pass this on to her.
In His Service,Reader --
your site and a few others are what enabled me to see that the king james bible is the only one to trust, so i Prasie God that he led me to your wonderful site and those others. although trying to get other christians to believe that it is the only trustworthy version has been another matter, even my fiance' got riled up and was abusive towards me and ridiculed me for making a stand, but guess what, she came with me and bought a king james bible too! Praise the Lord AMEN!

I just want to thank you so much for your website. Before I visited your website (which was by a fluke, but the Lord had other plans) I was an NIV using Christian not knowing nothing about my true Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I was regressing in my faith. But I found your website and I praise the LORD every day for it! I keep you in my prayers every day. Amen.

Hello. I am writing to let you know your website as a tremendous help to me when dealing with all the different bible versions and those who read them...Including myself. I started reading the NIV when I was first saved and was in a discussion with some fellow believers regarding KJV only. I was referred to your sight and was shocked at what I found. That Sunday I bought a KJV bible right away.

For so long, I had questions. If the original autographs were the Word of God, is the Bible the Word of God and if so, why isn't it the same? Then, I thought, we don't have God's Word preserved!
I asked my pastor, how do you know which of the variants is the Word of God and doesn't it bother you not knowing? The answer was a)Yes, God's Word has been preserved and b) No it doesn't matter which of the variants is the correct one.
That same man told me not to carefully study the sentence structure of the Bible, because they're only translations. If I wanted to study like that, I'd have to learn Greek. From this I concluded that perhaps I couldn't lean on God's Word like I would have liked. At this time, I was using the NIV. Then I heard about the new translation coming out in April called, "Today's NIV" which will be gender neutral and that the next aim is to have God be gender neutral.
After thinking about this for years, I thought that my situation was hopeless and that I could never trust what the Bible said because God's Word had become corrupted throughout the years and the real truth somehow lay centuries back in time.
After all, the Bible says that God will preserve His Word, but how did He?
Thank you for your site! It has answered many of my questions! I have also sent for a KJV Keystone Giant Print Bible from CPH. It's nice to be able to trust in the Bible again!

thank God for your page. It is truely a blessing that I found it. Since I started reading it I've gotten rid of 2 NIV Bibles...I tore them up completely and ordered a King James Bible 1611 from the site on your page. I also got rid of Movies and CD's. I'm trying to walk with the Lord and thank you for opening my eyes.

I've been to your page and I enjoy reading every article, especially the article concerning the NIV and new translations, Because of this my friend has burned the NIV and decided to get the KJV....

I was actually a NIV reader until about 6 months ago. I came across your site and other KJB sites. Before it takes ages to read the NIV, like about 3 months just on Romans. But from the time I started reading the KJB, some how I like it so much that I manage to finish twice the New Testament. The power of God is AWESOME!! Praise the Lord!

Dear Tracy, Thank you thank you THANK YOU for your site! I was in a chat room and someone flashed the address up on the screen, so I decided to check it out. I have read through so many of your articles, especially about Bible translations. See, I used to read the NIV and then I switched to NKJV, but I was always so unmotivated when I read the Bible, especially the bulky study bibles. Then I found your site, and I knew that I DID NOT want a Bible that took out verses of God's word!!! So I went to K-Mart today and bought a beautiful AKJV Bible for 15 dollars, no "verse referencing," no study sections, no "Greek word definitions," only God's TRUE Word and a few maps in the back in beautiful bonded leather (a very great price for a Bible I think, considering my NKJV slimline Bible cost me nearly 30 dollars!). I've tossed all of my other translations of the Bible into the trash. I was still a little nervous that I would be unmotivated to read it (you see I have a reading disability) but I just flipped to Matthew and started reading. I was determined to read a chapter - and I ended up reading 12 of them instead! I couldn't put the Bible down! It is so beautiful, the words are just like poetry. I felt so...in awe, that is all I can say. To have to priviledge of holding and reading God's precious Word!!! It's indescribable!!! I know that I am not going to have ANY trouble reading this beautiful Bible...I can't wait to go upstairs and finish reading Matthew! I read through the book so fast, I know that I will reread the book over and over again but I couldn't get enough of God's word! Thank you for directing me to the KJV because it is so beautiful and now I KNOW why I was so unmotivated to read the "bible" before - I didn't have the TRUE infallible word in front of me! Now I do, and it is so wonderful. What a priviledge to have God's word in my hands and heart. God's blessings to you! Love in Christ,

I will tell you something about me.
Reader -- Hi! Thank you for creating jesus-is-lord.com!! you have changed my life dramatically! (btw, sorry if i'm using the wrong e-mail address) Now i dont' watch TV! and i feel greater than ever! (my family finds me kinda strange lately cuz i'm not usally so happy:) and also, now i think very different of NIV and other bibles, i'll get a King James Version when it's possible(the nearest bookstore is miles away) Also, i now think Roman Catholics very differently, i used to think they were just Christians on the wrong track, but now, no no no, way worse... Anyway, I'm on the island of Taiwan, and I go to this Christian school made for missionaries, Morrison Christian Academy. Well, we use the NIV bible, the whole school does, and after reading your site, i wanna change that. I would like to ask permission to mention about jesus-is-lord.com and bring up some important facts of why to read KJV from the website. Can i do that?? Thank you again for this wonderful site:)

I just want to say how GREAT your website is. My eyes were really opened by the articles on the NIV "Bible". I confess that I used to use it, but after I read your stuff I immediately BURNED it because it was sent by SATAN. I got the KJV which I could see IMMEDIATELY was the TRUE WORD OF GOD just by opening it at random. I hope many many more people can see your website so they can be SAVED as well!

I wanted to write to you and tell you how very informative your site is. I am right now reading the section on the different bible versions. I have also been spreading this same information but some of the "christians" of today refuse to want to believe the truth. I have not looked through your entire site yet but I am going to do so. I can relate first hand to the NKJV, for I was given one last year after being saved. I was totally confused until I called my mother and asked her for a KJV, Thank God.
Reader --
...since the Lord led me to your article and others on the King James Version as being the only true translation (as opposed to the multitude of corrupt modern translations), that I decided to do away with the TEE and NKJV that I previously read. Thinking back, I remember how confused I used to be, when reading the TEE, because of an added footnote which cast a shadow of doubt on the deity of Jesus Christ. Now that I have a Bible I can believe in (the Authorised King James Version) I feel truly content. Now I know for a fact that Jesus Christ is God.

I was actually just browsing through lycos, typing in all sorts of things until i just stumbled across this site. I am convinced that the niv is not a accurate translation of the bible now after thoughtfull consideration over this week. I got to admit that when i was searching through the verses that seem to implicate that Jeses Christ was Lucifer. It gave me a inner scare and also created a fear in me of my niv bible.

I just wanted to write and say thanks for a wonderful website. I was using the NIV until God led me to your website. Since then I have been using the KJV and have seen a huge difference is my bible studies and my walk with God. Thank you for your hard work. God Bless you in your endeavors,

I will definitely head out tomorrow and purchase a new, more sturdy, King James version. The one my parents gave me indicates that it is conformable to the 1611 edition. The bible is not hard to understand, it's not rocket science. The words are there for all to understand -- and if we have ears, we will hear. I find that too many things are being watered down today, and while I had noticed a discrepancy in the versions of scripture from bible to bible, I just thought that I was the only one picking up on it. I'm glad to find that I'm not the only person who found that.
...thanks for helping me to see just how far off kilter the so-called "new and improved" versions are. I guess it's sort of like going to a fancy restaurant in town where the chicken is cooked in a new way, and served with a delicate pecan sauce of some kind, with new potatoes julienned and presented with a bouquet of the veggie of the day. It may look nice on the plate, and it may taste all right -- but it won't fill you up like your mom's fried chicken, cornbread, black-eyed peas and mashed potatoes. I'm glad that I found my way back home. Thanks for opening the door so I could see the light! x

For some time now I have used the NASB after being told by a person I trust that it is the "most accurate." Recently I decided to take some time off from my work in missions to read the Bible and get closer to The Lord. I attempted to begin reading the entire Bible (still the NASB) and found Could not do it! My eyes would hurt and my head would ache! In my spirit by His Spirit I KNEW the problem was spiritual! (by the way I am not from a Pentecostal framework!) Yet I was being checked in spirit by The Holy Ghost! I became aware of the KJ only movement and began to examine its positions. Finally I put down the NASB and bought a KJV! Amazing! I could read the Bible with no physical symptoms! And the words flew from the pages and became real to me! I read Matthew in almost one sitting! Thanks to a faithful ministry such as yours I found the root of my struggle with Bible study! Thank you so much, may the Lord bless you! By the way have you heard of others who have actually manifested physical problems, headaches and such while attempting to read abominations that try to pass themselves off as Bibles? If so I would like to know about it! I hope I am not alone! I think God used that to steer me from error! Shalom! [tracy's note: the Lord will use whatever is necessary to get us going in the right direction.]

I can't tell you just how much we appreciate your web site and it's extensive information. It has been a great blessing to many of us. Due to many of the articles, I have come to a stop on some of my studies in the greek language and I need to ask you if you could supply me with information on where I could purchase solid teaching material used from scholars who teach greek who do not use corrupted materials.
You asked about solid teaching materials from scholars who teach Greek and do not use corrupted materials. Try Bob Jones University. I'm currently taking a non credit correspondence class I'm VERY satisfied with. I've also looked at some of their Bible studies on line and they look deep. They only use the King James. I'm not sure of the url but if you do a search, I'm sure you'll find it. it may be www.bju.edu They have some nice videos too!Reader --
I didn't realize how much power I was missing by studying what I thought were "clearer" versions. I came across some things that made me realize how much my witness could be jeoperdized and corrupted at a crucial moment of doing the work of the Lord. This really got me thinking about all these versions out there right now. Thanks to God he showed me the truth. Thanks to your work on this website. God Bless you always in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour of all who receive him!!

I just became a King James Bible reader this year after visiting your web site. However, before I made the decision to go from NIV to KJV I was in a chat room debating with atheists. We were discussing the Bible why if it was the Word of God or not. They brought up up the point how there are contradictions in the Bible. The example they gave was that the Bible called both Satan and Jesus the "morning star." I was shocked at first and couldn't respond to them. I was so upset that I just left the chat room. The NIV not only can deceive born-again Christians but also unbelievers as well. The NIV is dangerous in many ways. We need to pray for the modern church and born-again Christians in the world today. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ who need the TRUE Word of God. God is sovereign, He will settle this Bible issue someday. Let's pray for that day. God bless! (age 15)

I want to thank you for creating this site. After reading about the geniune nature of the KJV Bible, I have since purchased one, and now read exclusively from it. I am highly dissapointed that the NIV blantantly removes WHOLE verses of scripture, and waters down the powerful messages of salvation and damnation.
Reader --
...I would like to thank you for taking such a bold stand for God's word and letting people know the truth. I went out today and bought myself another KJV bible, my others were rather shot from much use.
I had bought some of those other translations, and wondered why (until now) they didn't all say the same thing. I couldn't understand why verses were put into footnotes, either. What an eye opener your web site is!!
Reader --
I have to tell you when I compared the KJV and the NIV i was totally upset. It was like somebody just hit me in the face with a bus. now I'm really upset at the people who did this and i have to ask you "what in the world were they thinking when they decided to put some verses in the footnotes"? what is the point of that? are they that truly warped and evil that could actually leave verses out when it would have been just as easy to leave them where they belong. my grandfather died when he was 96 years old about five years ago and his bibles were about the same age and really don't remember seeing any "footnotes" where did that come from? what a shame,
take care and god bless

I've read a lot lately about Bible versions, and I now know that the KJV is the only trustworthy version(thank you thank you for all the wonderful articles about Bible versions). I don't own a KJV, I never have and neither have any in my family. I used to have a NIV, then a NAS, and now a NKJ. I've never read a KJV! Now I really want to purchase a KJV...

It wasn't until recently that I, even a Christian of 6 years, realized just how inerrant the Word of God was. I guess because I saw all the differant translations and thought that we really didn't have it in the world and that when Jesus said His words would not pass away, I figured it to be spiritual. But I finally did some research on the bible and I realize that WE DO HAVE the inerrant Word of God in the KJV of year 1611! This knowledge has signifantly increased my faith, hope, expectation, relationship and LOVE for God to a point I can not describe in words!
Reader --
thank you again for all of the work you have put into this site. it is truly amazing and i have been totally convinced that i should trust the KJV rather than the more modern translations.

Until I had come upon this website I had no idea that the NIV was a sham. I had had a that version for over a year, reading and memorizing from it. I felt betrayed. Now I'm learning all over again from my mother's KJV bible until I purchase my own.
Reader --
hi I got saved wene I was 5 now I am almost 10.I use the KING JAMS 1611 bible . I like your website.
Reader --
... I have been a diligent Bible student for the past 5 or 6 years.
I must say, that I really appreciate your comments on the 1611 King James Version. I am fully persuaded that this is the ONLY Bible for me to study out of! Everything I need to know about God, His plans, and my ticket into heaven is found in that precious book.
It has been about a year since I have resumed my studies in the 1611 Authorized King James Version. I haven't missed out on a thing. And I do want to point out that the text is very clear to me. If I can understand it, ANY saved person can! You see, I am learning disabled. But the Holy Ghost has proven to be a very successful teacher.
Reader --
Hey, just want to drop a line of encouragement. I have learned so much from your page. My friend is a 4th grade teacher at a Christian school and she used the NIV bible to give scriptures for the kids to memorize. When I would try to tell her about how corrupted it is, she wouldn't believe me. I never did a study about other versions, I just learned from when I would witness to JW'S that there was MANY scriptures omitted that I needed to use. So I copied and pasted your page on the NIV to her, and she called me the next day and told me that she went and bought herself a new KJV and that she is going to start using it to give hers kids the scripture verses. PRAISE JESUS!!!! Keep up the good work sister.

There is much biblical falsehood going on in churches around the world today that many Saints (sad to say) and unbelievers do not realize, just as I didn't, that can be found on your site. For a little while before receiving salvation, I started out reading a NKJV and shortly after receving salvation in the fall of 93, I started reading a NIV. After hearing/reading about the bible translation debate in early 99 I started researching on the KJV vs. modern (so-called) versions debate. Through diligent bible studying and prayer, only by and through the discernment and understanding given me by the Holy Spirit have come unto the truth that the KJV is God's holy, infallible, inerrant, preserved word that has not been corrupted by man...In May of 99 I went out and bought myself a KJV. Hopefully for us KJV believing Saints there is a sincere burden for many Saints and our churches, who without knowing are reading a corrupt/deceiving version today which is what our adversary desires. God has not changed his word to better understood by us today than it already was yesterday, the (KJV) always has been. The KJV says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever, and Jesus Christ is the word of God. Have you ever heard anyone complain about the books in our education system or libraries being too difficult to read? So why the Holy Bible (KJV)?
Reader -- ...
I must say that after reading your articles on the differences between the NIV and KJV I was so surprised that I purchased a KJV with greek and hebrew keyword translations [those who've compiled the lexicons, Greek dictionaries etc. which show them to be theosophists (Lucifer worshippers) who use the corrupted manuscripts. Be careful of the "Greek & Hebrew" keyword translations you have. There are over 5,000 Greek manuscripts and you have no idea which ones they are using when compiling their "definitions". The English is clear enough for you to receive instruction. This so-called Christian world is about "scholarolatry" whatever the self-professed scholars say is generally accepted. King Jesus says, "Whatosoever I saith is accepted."]. One thing that contributed to this decision, aside from your excellent articles, was the fact that I had begun to notice many differences between my NIV and a friends KJV when studying together.

I've been bible hopping from KJV,NIV,ASTB...etc. but the lord led me back to KJV, cause I wasn't getting the true word of God and not growing from the fruits I've eaten.Just a couple of weeks ago I was doing some research in the internet and out of blue came this web page about the authorized version of KJV 1611. So opened it up and some of my questions were revealed.
I feel that lord is leading me to a mission here in my church because during our sunday sermons, our pastor would read from his KJV and the rest of the body would have a different version of text and not only that our flyers would have different scriptual text in different verses from different publishers...
It's a burden in my heart to approach our senior Pastor...Can you please give any suggestion that you feel that might be some help to this mission I'm going to do. Thank you for your kind time and assistance Brother in Jesus Christ...
Tracy's note: I pointed this brother to AV1611's on-line tracts which are awesome. I told him he could share them with the pastor. I order the hard copies, but you can also print them out! Praise the Lord for Bro. Terry Watkins work.Reader --
Thursday I was teaching my Bible study group and near the end of the class, one of the young ladies raised her hand and stated how hard it was for her to understand what she read in the Bible. This is someone whose mom gave her an NIV study Bible chock full of so-called helps, but this girl moaned and groaned about how difficult it was to read.
The reason I mention this is because people will say that they don't read the KJV because it is so hard to understand. But I believe that the same people who say that have probably never really tried to read the KJV, for one, and, secondly, probably don't "understand" the perverted versions either. I am ashamed to say that at first I hesitated to buy my group KJV's because I thought the "archaic" words might stump them. But the young lady's comment made me realize that many people won't understand whatever is put in front of them because they simply have no real desire to learn the Word. People buy these so-called "easier to understand versions" and they still don't get anything out of it because they are just simply lazy people who want someone else to cut the meat and serve it to them!
Well, I for one, will no longer help anyone remain lethargic by giving them a watered-down, powerless, useless, perverted version of God's Word. Today I ordered two cases of KJV Bibles for my Bible study groups at the juvenile facility. I am going to serve up THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. I can't make them read it when I am not there, but I can make sure they have access to God's best!

it is true many people come to get the truth after it was exposed in the jesus is lord website. i'll say i have been one of them , and i have found it very encouraging as i continue to seek the knoweledge of true and pure christian fellowship which is based on the bible. i'm also glad to know which bible to go for, but unfortunately here in Russia i have not come across the Authrorised King James version of 1611. And sad enough the church i attend issues the nivs for free and most people got a copy. i just wanted to know how i could get my self a AKJV to walk around with and share with friends the Good news. fortunately i was able to down load a copy from the jesus is lord website. do you know of a place i could purchase my own. ?

I was just visiting a Bible store and looked for the authorized King James and I found a couple of different publishers..One is Zandervon.....The Bibles also did not say 1611....... I was confused......and thank you for your site...It has opened my eyes..

Just wanted to say, I showed a brother www.Jesus-is-Lord.com and he has said he is getting rid of his Bible translation and turning to KJV!!!
I myself was reading NIV when I came to Christ. I must admit I thought you were straining at a gnat. But even as I turned to the Authorised Version, I felt unease about the myriad of versions. Not to mention that unbelievers often scoff at the fact that there are so many in the bookstore. About 5 years ago, before I was saved, I was looking for a Bible (God was working in me even then, cos I bought a KJV). A muslim guy was telling me to buy a Koran instead cos there aren't many "versions" of it as there are of the Bible. You see how this can hinder our witness? It's a good job there IS one truth, and that God in His mercy revealed it to us.
Aside from the errors in new translations, I find it funny that most people who attack the Bible don't even read it - I know, I was one of them! What foolishness.
Reader --
I am writing from Malaysia, a muslim country. I do not find that KJV is too hard for foreign children to understand. To me all this is only a propaganda to help the modern bibles bottom line.

Let me encourage you by saying that God has used your articles to open my eyes to the truth of the King James bible 1611, and the false versions. You see, I used to read the NIV Bible, but, like I said, God has used you, and other people, to open my eyes to the truth that the King James Bible is truly THE perfect Bible, and today, I'm happy to say that I stand with you 100% in finding the truth in the King James Bible 1611.
Reader --
... I think you are doing a lot of good. You definitely opened up my eyes to the situation of Bibles. Thank you and God bless.

...I, too once read new age versions of the bible. But, the Lord lead me back to the KJV. I had asked Him to help me stay away from false religions and beliefs. And He lead me away from the NIV and the NJKV...

God Bless you and your work.

Hello! It is so refreashing to come here and to build my faith! I want to thank Tracy and jesus-is-lord.com for the WEALTH of information.
THANK YOU FOR POINTING OUT THE KJV!! I love it, I could tell the difference immeditatly! Jesus is more alive in the KJV than the NIV.
Reader --
I would just like to thank you for all the effort you've put into your website and for the great impact it has had on my life.
I must admit that I was quite offended when I read about the corruptions from the modern Bible versions but God really spoke to me and i purchased myself a KJV. Never before has the the Holy Ghost worked so much in my life after reading the Holy Bible, I really felt the presence of God and I discovered that the old english wasn't hard to read after all.
Reader --
I think that your site is an enlightening one, and that I was completely unaware of the NIV's implications. Thank You.
Reader --
I am discarding my NIV version, I checked out all the references and compared them, and you are right, there are many scipture verses missing! People need to hear the truth of this deception!...
Reader -- What publishing companies still print a quality Authorized King James Bible that adheres to the 1611 text?
Reader -- I visit you site regularly and sometimes E-Mail churches or individuals' sites informing them of your URL. (especially those who show signs of utilizing a *modern* translation!) You have the best collection of pro KJV materiel I have found on the internet in my 15 months of being on-line. Reading some of those sure changed my attitude (about 1 year ago) about *Which Bible* to read ! !
Reader --Aaah! Brilliant, like a breath of fresh air. No lukewarmness like in the church of the Laodicean's (Revelation 3:14-22).
I have been through several of the "new" Bible versions, specifically GNB, NIV, Living, NLT, NRSV, NASB, and have not found one of them that really inspired my confidence in His Word. All they managed to do was take quite a bit of my hard earned, God-given income and give it to peddlars of these corrupt versions. You know, I never thought about the accuracy of the translations until I found your site. Now I read nothing but the KJV. It has taken me a few weeks to browse through the many articles related to the "versions" issue but my mind is now set as is my heart that what you declare about the KJV and the modern translations is of God.
I am now in the position of having to declare to my pastor, church elders, fellow believers, friends and family of my decision. This must include the reasoning behind it. I am not normally predisposed to any form of confrontation so I pray that my confidence will be in the Lord and in his Word.
Many, many thanks for your site. You are a humble person who stands for the truth.
Keep on going. God bless you.

...Your site has taught me to lean not to my own understanding, but to lean on the word of God, because it will never fail me, unlike the people who teach it ( or even the people who follow it ). I have also thrown out my new king James, and niv bibles, and now only read the king James version.
Reader--...I found out on your site about bible translations being wrong and thats something I would think everyone would want to know. Can you believe some people took offence when I told them. ..
Reader--...I have with me is the AKJV as you have suggested. I would like to thank your website for pointing out the subtle manipulation of Satan in the NIV...
Reader--...I return to Bro. Jeff Johnson's article time after time and yes I've put away my NKJV for a new KJV! I'm also sharing my new found information with as many as the Lord allows.
Reader--So, the Authorized Version 1611 King James Version is the KJV bible I've had since I was a kid? I have bought the NIV and the NKJV, then I read how all these versions were 'bad', so I tried to find one of these 'Authorized Version 1611 King James Version' bibles, thinking I was missing something, and I've had the 'right' one all along?
Wonderful.
Thank you for your help and you really DO have a lovely site. I'll recommend it to friends.
Reader--Your site is VERY informative.
How would I go about getting an AV KJV Bible. I can not find a place to purchase one.
Reader--During my research of this "morning star" topic, I read all of the scriptures you posted. Isaiah 14:12, 2Peter 1:19, Revelation 2:28 and Revelation 22:16. The only Bible I've known or studied by is the NIV, until now, and about a year ago someone pointed out to me the Isaiah 14:12/Revelation 22:16 issue. I addressed my pastor at the time, being completley appalled at this, and he assured me there was no blasphemy there because in Rev 22:16 the text had capital letters "Morning Star" and in Isaiah 14:12 no capital letters "morning star" clearly showing that in reference to Jesus, the capital letters seperated the two. At the time, young in the Lord I accepted this as truth and went on about my way.
Don't let the
in Revelation of the NIV fool you. See, that's the whole purpose of having it in capital letters is to fool you in thinking it seperates Jesus from Lucifer, but as Tracy said..it does not because Jesus is referred to as the morning star in non capital letters. Also In the KJV, "morning star" is not capialized in Rev 22:16 becuase it does not need to, because it does not call anyone else morning star. I hope this helped even though its long. Thank you for all the insight.. Im using KJV now. Praise God but it's still a shame that the commentary is so corrupted, sometimes I dont know what to buy anymore. It seems we can't even use the helps available in fear of being mislead.
Reader--I just bought a KJ Bible... i've stopped reading niv after reviewing all of the changes. thanks
Reader--A cousin of mine forwarded your website to me about a month ago and I've been on it every since, forwarding different articles here and there. My favorite section has been the bible section. I had grown up reading the KJV and grew weary with its' "peradventure" and many other unfamiliar English words. Wanting to know God and His word better, I bought a NKJV about 10 years ago and never looked over my shoulder, until now. I've returned to the KJV with a new thirst for God and His Word. Bro Jeff Johnson's KJV v. ALL modern version is the great awakening, a real eye opener. ..
I'm enjoying your website daily, now I've got to go read a couple of chapters of The Answer Book, defending the KJV. Oh yeah, that NIV quiz, knocks 'em dead! Thanks. Jesus-Is-Lord! So long NKJV, I've gotta repent.
Reader--I have really enjoyed your site, and have torn up 2 bibles because of the information you have on your site. I read about the NIV and the NKJV, I looked up all the scriptures quoted to verify and was shocked. I thought the NKJV was exactly like the KJV without all the "Shall Not", "Yea" , "Tho" etc. so I did'nt want to just throw them away in the trash, I thought maybe someone would get a hold of them, so I tore them. You know, I paid about $20 for the NIV and $60 for the NKJV, and the bible I use is a $2.95 used 1611 KJV I bought at the used book store about 2 years ago when I first started doing research on the JW. I showed the little green paper back KJV bible to my husband and I told him were going back to the used book store to get him a bible too.
Reader--...I just had to sent an e-mail
to thank you for such an informative website. While I do possess a NIV
version I was not aware of the extent of the heresies. From the day I
accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior I was taught from the KJV and I
thank God that I grew in grace through the KJV. It has been the only
version that I commit to memory. Now that I know the terrible danger in
using a NIV I will warn along with you to all who will listen. Once
again thank you and I pray all who enter this website will be convicted
and return to the only true word of God....Before I had first wrote you I spent over 5hrs comparing scriptures and as I told you I was shocked. So shocked that I called my pastor to let him know the information that had come to my attention.Well I have good news to report. My pastor was not aware(but now is) of the extent of the changes to God's Holy Word contained in the NIV and he has told me that he will call his superiors. He wants to know why something this serious is not common knowledge and why he was never informed of all the errors and deletions.I also informed some of my closest friends from church of the errors and they too were not aware but glad for what I have told them. I thank the Lord that He has opened my eyes. Today at church we had visitors from Jamaica (they are in our area each year for apple picking I was told)and our pastor had one of them read from the scriptures. Praise the Lord the man read Romans chapter 5, the entire chapter, and from the KJV.(an answer to prayer) As an ending note many at my church want hymns re-included in the worship and that is happening also(thank you Jesus). Blessings to you and all the saints at Jesus-Is-Lord.com in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the King...
...Today I spoke to my brother-in-law and let him know what has come to my attention concerning God's Holy Word.He too was unaware of what should be common knowledge.
...Thank God he now sees how serious this is. Just this weekend as I was leaving my house I began to sing a hymn (now I wasn't thinking of the hymn..it just came out)and I know that it is the Lord's doing because I felt prompted to take time each night with my wife to worship Him with the old songs of praise. So last night we did just that and it was wonderful. We sang about 10 hymns. (Trust & Obey, I Know Whom I Have Believed,How Great Thou Art, to name a few)My wife...was so happy because this is just drawing us closer together as we draw closer to Him.

I just wanted to thank you for your page.Jesus has just started
teaching me about different versions and what they say.I use to love the
niv but now i think im about ready to throw it out the door. I haven't
read your whole page yet but it is very interesting.I have tried to tell
a few friends what i have been learning, and i can see the anger in there
faces as i tell them the errors in the niv. They change there attitude
when they begin to look up what i tell them. I just wanted to say
thanks and keep up the good work.

[This reader did not say he was going to use the KJB; however, I believe my response to the question may help someone.]
I recently visited your site and learned about the various deletions in the
NIV Bible. This disturbs me greatly. How are we to know for sure that the AKJV is the true translation in its entirety? My response [slightly modified]--
God made some promises about His word and we know that God cannot lie. Here are a few items to consider--
(1) In Psalm 12:7 it says that God will preserve His word forever.
(2) Jesus said heaven and earth shall pass away but his words shall NEVER
pass away
(3) Jesus said we will be judged by the WORD He has spoken. It is the
standard.
(4) The same God who created heaven and earth is ABLE to preserve His word.
(5) God has not left Himself without witness. The whole of Psalm 119 is about the merits of God's word. At the judgment, the word of God will preside and be opened. The word of God has prevailed for thousands of years. Where is it? The question is not, "Do we have God's word?" The question is "WHERE is God's word?"
(1) The King James Bible is almost 400 years old and the best-selling book
of all time distributed to more countries than any other book.
(2) It has been taken all over the world and has borne GOOD fruit. People
getting saved and living holy lives. We KNOW that it has the words of life.
It is tried, proven and true. There is not a close second to it. If a man
gets ahold of that book, he cannot be deceived. I say that from personal
experience.
(3) The King James Bible is the product of faithful men who suffered for Jesus' sake. That Book came out of blood.Look at the new perversions. NIV has been around about 25 years. A
johnny-come-lately. What kind of fruit? Deletes whole passages. Many NIV
reading type people question the Bible with "the original Greek". Many of them are softies. As a person who has received multiplied thousands of e-mails I can almost always detect whether the writer uses a new Bible or the "Olde Book". I've only been told I was wrong ONE time--and I have no guarantees that person was telling the truth--they claimed to read the KJV but the person was a softie. Folks who read the King James Bible have a tendency to
be "hard core" because it is weighty and powerful. Folks who have changed
over to it have written amazed at the difference.Read it for yourself and see what you see. Talk to Jesus and get in the
Booke for yourself. Just start with the gospel of John.

Just a note of thanks. My family has been looking and researching several
things on your site, we feel as though our eyes have been opened, from God
through you! Thanks so much for all the wonderful info. Especially
concerning translations and the revealing information on the KJB. I "was" a
NIV and NKJ person. Not any longer. I have been doing the comparisons
between all three and have been astounded and saddened. I believe God was
trying to tell us to get back into His correct word. The only true word, the
King James Bible. I pray God will bless you as He has us through you. I do
Give God All The Glory! Jesus is Lord! Amen! Thanks again, In Christ,

FYI...I e-mailed the webpage, "Why I only read the AKJV of the Bible" to a friend at work who is saved, but reads the NIV. I was scared at first, but I prayed about it, & now she said she's gone into your site and looked around, & that she's going to take that NIV quiz. She told me how she had no idea, etc. etc. She told me she's learning a lot she didn't know. Praise the Lord!
God is using you, this ministry is touching lives. It's lifted me up several times! Be encouraged, we're praying for you!

This site is excellent. There couldn't possibly be another Christian
site on the web with more info especially on controversial issues.
God has used this site to open my eyes to the truth about the NIV
Bible. I had been reading it since I was a young teenager and had no
idea that there was something wrong with it. Now I know the truth.
Needless to say, I am now reading my KJV. Thanks for not backing down.
Thanks for sharing the truth. I read some of the e-mail you had received
from some folks, crticizing you for putting down their NIV. They said
you were making a big deal out of nothing. I disagree! God's Word should
be taken very seriously. As Christians, it is our duty to protect it
from those who would seek to change or destroy it. The TRUE Bible is God
in written form. It does matter! It deserves the efforts you have put
forward, and I am proof that you have made a difference. God Bless you
for your ministry. Keep doin what you're doin! In Christ,

About a year and a half ago, we started doing our first bits of research on the KJV vs. every-other-translation debate. My parents had moved and... were quickly faced with the problems of the translations they used, and soon switched to the KJV.
Then we moved in with them for a while, and were surprised to find them impressing on us the importance of this issue. So reluctantly I began researching the subject, fully expecting to find it nothing more than a bunch of nit-picking. Boy was I surprised! And my husband too! Far from nit-picking, we found the argument to be simple, intelligent, and extremely compelling. We now use the KJV.

My whole life has been revolutionised in terms of Bible reading and my walk with the Lord. I discovered to my utter disgust that what I feared most is what has been happenning in relation to various Bible translations...

I want to thank you for your web page. I had gotten a NIV study Bible and when I found out what all was missing I almost flipped my lid. I told my brother - in - law about it and had copies made up for them to compare the KJV with NIV and find what was missing. Their preachers say there is nothing wrong with the new translations and that King James was a sinner. That burned me up real quick . I also believe that these new versions are anti - christ bibles and I am sticking to King James. I want to thank you for information on King James as I didn't know much about it. Now I can say different. Like I told my husband the KJV was around when we had nothing else and it has stood the test of time. I don't see anyone shedding any blood over these new translations.
