Midnight
Dear Friend:
When I was in here...for my adopted [baby's check up], you told me that you believe abortion is "a woman's choice". I awoke at midnight thinking of these chilling words and felt compelled to write.
The moment YOU were conceived you were a CHILD and not a thing. Wicked men tell you that it is perfectly fine to kill and dismember a helpless child, without anesthesia, in utero. It is NOT alright. It is wicked evil. You're glad your mother did not make that choice--and so am I.
God says in the scriptures, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee..." (Jeremiah 1:5). God formed YOU in the belly from the MOMENT you were conceived. There was never a time in your development when you were not a human being. You weren't a fish for 7 weeks and then on the 8th week you became human.
I once had a woman who worked for me who told me she had had 13 abortions. I did not ask her for this information, it just tumbled out of her mouth. IT WAS IN HER MIND. Another woman told me she had had four abortions and that she got tired of having abortions so when she got pregnant the fifth time, she had the child. Let's make it personal...
I KILLED someone in 1988. In 1988, as a silly whore, I HAD AN ABORTION. I didn't want to deal with the consequences of my sin. I wanted to finish college. I didn't want the family to know. I didn't want to be embarrassed. Oh, I finished college. Even got married, live in a fairly fancy house, stay at home and I have a good life in Christ. We've adopted a baby and we have a wonderful Christian family. Nevertheless, the consequences of my legally sanctioned murder have followed me. How often have I agonized about what I did! Do you think I've forgotten that I should have an 11 year old who should be turning 12 years old in October of this year? Do you think I have never shed hard tears over my murderous hands and tortured child? As the Bible says, my sin has found me out--to this day, I cannot conceive a child in my womb. I'm not going to go to any fertility doctor, either. I was born fertile and decided to despise and kill the fruit of my womb.
Why do you think so many women look to adopt and undertake fertility treatments? Why are so many wombs closed nowadays? Whorish women like me who took the cowards way out--abortion.
...Jesus saved my soul in spite of all that I was. I repented of all my sins and now I know Jesus Christ as my personal Sinbearer, Saviour and Lord--He lives in my soul. Jesus died for my sins and He has forgiven me of the abortion but don't think for one second that my mind has been erased. I will never forget that baby I [tortured and] killed. I know the baby is in heaven--and one day, because of Christ, I will go there too.
Over 5,000 babies a day are killed and most folks feel just like you--no problem. But the media that influenced your thinking in this area doesn't tell you about the suicide rates of women who've had abortions. It doesn't tell you about the infertility rates of women who've had abortions. It tells you lies such as evolution is true and embryos are not children. The Bible says the Devil is the father of lies and those who belong to him believe lies.
Friend, you believing abortion "is a woman's choice" is really only a symptom of your real problem--you are unregenerate, without God, and without hope in this world. You need Jesus Christ. Without Him, YOU WILL be consigned to a devil's hell.
I intended this letter for your eyes only, but if you decide to show it to the whole world, so be it. I've enclosed a gospel tract for your information. You may claim to be a Christian, but if you do not accept the Bible as the word of God and if Jesus Christ is not the Lord of your life, you are fooling yourself. Should you have questions about the Bible and what it means to be a Christian, I'll be happy to answer them....
If you reject Christ, I'm sorry about that but I hope that you will always remember me when you say you believe that an abortion is "a woman's choice". It is not a choice. It is sanctioned murder and a sacrifice to the god of Self. Jesus help us all.
